Your pet is your best friend, family and secret-keeper

and I understand it, because I've been there.

When I was little, I had this black, short-haired village dog at my grandfather’s place. He was my world. I can still picture his funny little curly tail that looked just like a pig's. We did everything together, I even used to force him to sit and watch TV with me. I didn't have many friends back then, so he was the one I turned to for everything.

Where I grew up, village dogs were just roaming dogs. There were numerous of them, and to most people, "they were just dogs." They didn't have high value, and they weren’t treated as family. But to me? My dog was never just a dog.

Then, life happened. My grandfather passed away, and suddenly I was being moved to a new city. The house was gone, and just like that, my dog was gone too. My dad said he went to a neighbour, but I never really knew. I was just a kid. I didn't have a choice, and I never got to say goodbye.

What still hurts the most today is that I don’t have a single photograph of us together. Back then, nobody thought a little girl’s bond with a "roaming dog" was a big deal. But now, all these years later, I have nothing left to hold onto except the memories in my head, and I’m always afraid they’ll fade.

I don't want that to happen to you.

I want to capture those happy moments for you before they slip away. I care so much about the specific bond you have with your dogs, your cats, or whoever makes your family feel whole.

My dream is to create something beautiful that celebrates that love, something real that makes you laugh (and maybe cry a little) years down the road.

I just want you to have something timeless.

Because these feelings are worth holding onto forever.

I’ve finally found my black dog again

I’m a grown-up now, and I met my black dog five years ago.
This time, I’m not letting the moment slip away.

“I don't feel comfortable in front of the lens..."

I completely understand. Sometimes I feel exactly the same way.

It is entirely normal to feel a bit anxious about being photographed. But here is a comforting thought: studies have shown that up to 91% of the things we worry about never actually happen. If you’re worried about how to pose, what to look like, or feeling "stiff", please don't be.

You don't need to look at my camera, and you definitely don't need to model.

My job is to move gently around you, using soft light and candid storytelling techniques to capture the quiet, unscripted moments between you and your pet. It’s about the way your hand rests on their head, or how they look up at you when you laugh.

Years from now, you won't look at these photographs and think about your worries; you will look at them and be profoundly grateful that you created something beautiful together. Having missed out on having a single photo with my own childhood dog, I know firsthand the quiet ache of not having those visual memories. I want to make sure you never have to feel that regret.

With all that said, your absolute comfort is my priority.

If you truly prefer to stay behind the scenes, that is completely okay. Whether we focus entirely on your pet's solo portraits, or subtly include you and your family in a way that feels natural to you, every approach creates a beautiful, timeless memory.

There is no pressure here. We move entirely at your pace.

Which location would you prefer?

  • Fine Art Pet Photography

    Dream it

We start by connecting in whatever way you prefer, whether that is a phone call, email, or messaging. We will talk through your needs and preferences, your vision, and what you want to remember most. We will also look at your home decor to ensure the final artwork fits your space perfectly.

This is where I get to know you and your pet, so by the time we meet for the session, everything feels completely natural and easy.

  • Fine Art Pet Photography

    Start it

Your session takes place in a calm outdoor setting where we focus on your comfort. While we typically spend one to two hours together, there is no strict time limit because every pet is different, and we understand that you both might feel a little nervous at first.

We work entirely at your pace, giving you and your pet plenty of time to settle in and just be yourselves so the experience never feels rushed or forced.

  • Fine Art Pet Photography

    See it

Following our session, I meticulously review every frame to hand-select the "best of the best". I typically curate a gallery of 10–15 high-end portraits that meet my strict standards for focus, composition, and emotional impact.

To maintain the elegant aesthetic of my work, technical imperfections or 'goofy' outtakes are filtered out during this process, ensuring every image you see is a polished portraiture ready for your walls.

(If your heart is set on capturing those sillier, candid moments, please let me know during our initial consultation so I can weave them into my artistic vision.)
